*With proof of purchase the frame and forks are automatically warranted for 3 years from the date of purchase. Warranty Terms & Conditions
All Hornit products are warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of at least 2 years from the date of purchase shown on the proof of purchase. If there is a discrepancy between the warranty information on this page and the length of warranty or terms stated on the warranty card or in the instruction manual included with the product then the most favourable terms and conditions for the customer shall apply.
The warranty period applies from the date of purchase. All warranties apply only when the product is used as intended, under normal conditions and do not apply when damage is caused by wear and tear, accidents, corrosive substances, water, misuse or neglect. In all cases the warranty is limited to the value of the product. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The lower handlebar position offers more stability, balance and control making it quicker and easier to learn.
Child-friendly brakes, bars and grips
We use short-reach, adjustable brake levers to make it easier for children with small hands. We also use narrow child-friendly handlebars and contoured grips for improved handling and control.
Maximising efficiency
Given that so many children learn on balance bikes, they are ready for a comfortable, sportier riding position. Our riding position and crank lengths and gearing are all designed for maximum efficiency as we want children to love their HEROs as much as we loved designing them.
Hebie Looper Chainguard.
The patented and completely closed chainguard which not only prevents inquisitive fingers from getting trapped or pinched, but also offers excellent protection against dirt. It combines a sturdy construction and streamlined design, enhancing the appearance of the bike compared to ordinary chainguards.

Exactly the quality of bike I was looking for for my daughter. Solidly built with a thick frame, great brakes, and the levers are easy for her small hands to reach. She learned to ride it without stabilisers for the first time and did so with ease. Absolutely love it.

Had issues with the delivery so I can't be 100% sure that the bike wasnt mishandled and thrown around which has lead to issues with the front wheel brakes. The team sent me the directions to a YouTube channel to look and adjust myself, I expected better for the reputation of Hornit and the cost of the bike.
Either way its been a disappointing experience so far.

Have bought Hornit bikes since the start and have never been disappointed. Great build, easy to assemble and an excellent ride.
Not worthy of dropping a star, but…
…the gap between the old and new range was WAY too long, and…
…I think the 20” Hero range should have a more substantial chain guard as standard.

We bought our 6 year old a Hero 20” for Christmas it’s a great bike, super light compared to most children’s bike, it’s his first geared bike and I like the brake leavers as they don’t seem such a stretch for him as other bikes he’s tried. Building the bike out of the box was simple, just a case of attaching the handle bars and front wheel, instructions are simple to follow if you are not very mechanical! He started biking with the Hornit Airo balance bike which he loved I would recommend this to any parent looking for a balance bike.
